THE PROCESS. NO AI. NO SHORTCUTS.

WIN stands for Working In Negative. It's a fully developed, multi-step engraving technique refined through hundreds of hours of trial and error — because the software wasn't designed to do what we make it do.

The process starts with a dark-stained surface. Using a curated workflow across multiple applications, images are manually altered and inverted to create a photographic negative optimized for laser engraving. The laser removes only what's necessary — revealing the image from the darkness beneath rather than marking on top of it. The result is a depth and contrast that looks less like engraving and more like a photograph emerging from shadow.

No AI generation. No pre-made templates. Every image is processed by hand, layer by layer, until it's right.

The 3D Detail Select pieces go a step further. Strategic areas of the design are laser-cut at varying depths — slightly raised or recessed from the surface — creating a subtle three-dimensional effect that tricks the eye. In flat photography it reads as shadow and depth. In person it's something you have to touch to fully understand.

It looks like a coaster. It functions as a coaster. But if you play guitar, you almost certainly keep a pick somewhere near where a drink would go — and at some point you will reach for this one to play. And it won't come out.
